Marlin - FN2 "Ecutek" Remapped ECU's (Full options and customizable!) - 2025 Updates!

The Marlin FN2 Remap is exclusive to TPW Engineering and is suitable for cars that are standard or have basic modifications.

The Marlin ECU is a tried and tested system with accurate calibrations created on the dyno so nothing like the flash maps you hear about that just lower Vtec making it "feel" faster and is something you can trust that's been extensively tried and tested and can be setup to customer specific requirements and choice.

Just select the system you need then get in contact detailing the mods you have and we will work out the best "Stage" to suit your needs then we can decide what specific options you have making it truly customizable.

We are also still running the £50 buyback on original ECUs returned tested and in working condition if New ECU option is selected.

Programmed using an Ecutek base file created by us with a license applied means that the ECU is completely custom mappable later at a "reduced" price (Original owners only) and also compatible with our Ecutek Remote Tuning systems.

For the GT cars equipped with Cruise control, we can do map switching through the cruise buttons and we can setup upto 4 different switchable map modes which can be customizable within reason.

On cars without the cruise control we can only do the 1 map setup but with the added Bluetooth module it allows us to carry out map switching through the phone app or compatible head unit.

Available in 3 basic options with different modification combinations upon request.

Available options

  1. Setup on a customer supplied ECU at reduced cost - (ECU's sent in will be tested beforehand so no scrap yard/breaker specials and damaged ecus as we will know!)

  2. As a complete replacement ECU supplied and configured

  3. Supplied as a Bluetooth module which will be setup remotely onto the car directly with all the added features using Phoneflash and include all necessary license's and calibration files and can be easily updated and edited later.

Modification options

(We will refer to them as "Stage's" as its just easier to relate to them for reference in this specific product and not to be confused with any other type of stage tuning you might see)

  1. Stage 1 - Intake and Exhaust
  2. *NEW for 2025* Stage 1.5 - Intake, HFC (High flow cat) or Decat on track cars, and Exhaust
  3. Stage 2 - Intake, Exhaust Manifold and Exhaust

  • Fixed mode traction control  - (Additional £50 charge is applied for adding this)

NOTE - The addition of the Ecutek Bluetooth module allows "Non" GT cars ability to run multi maps with many of the features previously not possible.

Stage 1 ECU Remap

Warning - The Stage1 Remap is not suitable for cars with an exhaust manifold fitted. For these you will need the Stage2 Remap.

Configured for a high flow intake and quality Catback exhaust system the ECU will run fine with everything from a stock car to one with the described modifications and any similar kits. With a raised rev limiter to 8600rpm and vtec lowered to 3800rpm it benefits from a much improved throttle response everywhere and increased midrange power due to the lower vtec and optimized cam advance.

The ECU will be fine running on 95Ron fuel but higher is recommended.

(Upgrade to Stage 1.5 or Stage 2 is possible at extra cost if manifold is added later - Original owner only)

Stage 1.5 ECU Remap

Configured for a high flow intake, High Flow Sport Cat or Decat pipe on track only cars and a quality high flow exhaust system, the ECU will run fine with any combination of the described modifications so don't need to be identical.
With a raised limiter to 8600rpm and vtec at 4000rpm when full throttle (6000rpm part throttle) it benefits from a much improved throttle response everywhere and massively increased midrange due to the lower vtec and optimized cam advance.

The ECU will be fine running on 95Ron fuel but higher is recommended.

Stage 2 ECU Remap

Configured for a high flow intake, Toda/Tegiwa/Japspeed "style" exhaust manifold and quality high flow exhaust system the ECU will run fine with any combination of the described modifications so don't need to be identical.
With a raised limiter to 8600rpm and vtec at 4000rpm when full throttle (6000rpm part throttle) it benefits from a much improved throttle response everywhere and massively increased midrange due to the lower vtec and optimized cam advance.

The ECU will be fine running on 95Ron fuel but higher is recommended.

Traction Control

The Traction control system includes a progressive wheel slip strategy utilizing both throttle and ignition control that is far superior to the basic stock VSA system that's quite obtrusive. The setting if fixed on the £50 option on ECU options but adjustable on the systems with Bluetooth modules
