FK2 Packages and ECU Solutions


The FK2 was available in the UK from 2015 where we received our car and within a few months we had gained access to the ECU and started development of custom remapping.
There are 2 popular solutions for remapping these cars.

Direct to ECU is the most cost effective and doesn’t require any special hardware but is fixed in that you can’t alter/remotely support or remove the tune if you want to later but we can edit and revert to stock if required and is available for all year cars.

We are able to offer FULL CUSTOM remapping to the stock ECU without the necessity of Jailbreaking the ECU and buying a costly Hondata interface.
As well as all the normal benefits you see with remapping and ability to run effectively 2 different power maps with the 2 setting modes we can also alter rev and launch limiters, soft or hard limiter cuts and bring it alive for those wanting a little burble on the over-run as well as enabling left foot braking which the original ECU doesn’t do.

We are also able to create full backup reads from the point the car comes to us of the ECU as well as having the ability to "Clone" the ECU if a duplicate is required
Remapping still retains full functionality of all OEM systems and can still read any check codes and diagnostic functions through the OBD Diagnostics port

Direct to ECU mapping 

The 2nd option and far more expensive is mapping with Hondata
Hondata is custom remapping again done on the dyno but you are also getting the Hondata interface module which is quite costly and requires jailbreaking the ECU to allow it to work which we carry out on-site prior to mapping.

With Hondata you have the ability to also revert to stock, unlock the modules and sell them on so when you factor in that you will get most of the money back on the unit the costs don’t seem as bad.
With Hondata the modules are fixed to car type so will only be able to sell to FK2 owners.
Hondata does also allow remote support with logging and ability for end user to upload the maps.

Happy to map a car that owner supplies a Hondata and car will still need jailbreaking and mapping only but you must ensure the module has been removed and unlocked from previous car and I know there are a lot of these modules about people haven’t unlocked just mapped their car and tried to sell them and unfortunately if they aren’t unlocked they are un usable
